If you are an Android user, you must have come across the
word Rooting. Rooting means breaking the restrictions placed on the usage of
advanced abilities of an Android phone. Rooting is not a new process, it has
been in existence in other phone OS but is called different names. For example,
in Symbian, the process is called Hacking and in IPhones, it’s called
Jailbreaking. I guess the name of the IPhone version a kind of explains its
function more. Jailbreaking which has to do with breaking away from a jail,
lol, something like that.
There are so many available applications for Rooting like
Iroot, Framaroot, Superuser, Kingroot and down the line. For the sake of this
post, I will be using Kingroot 4.5 because to me, I consider Kingroot the best
and easiest to handle. The idea behind this Rooting is that the application
tends to install a Super User app.
For you to understand Rooting of Android devices, you can
take your mind to how these two accounts work on your Pc:
1.
Administrator account.
2.
Guest account.
As an Administrator in Windows Operating System, you are
free to perform every operation you want without any restriction. You can
access and use files as you want but a Guest has limited abilities. It can only
access limited or no file and the functions are limited. Bringing this analysis
to Android, without Root access you are just like a guest. You are not able to
make use of powerful applications which
can do mind blowing stuffs. A Rooted Android is more like an Administrator, it
allows you to make use of the phone to its full potential. You are able to
tweak the phone to suit yourself. Considering the fact that An Android is an
open source, it allows users to manipulate and tweak it to their satisfaction.
THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT
ROOTING.
1.
Rooting voids your warranty but you can always
unroot whenever you want.
2. You might want to back up your stock rom in
other to guard against misfortunes.
WHY YOU SHOULD ROOT.
1.
It removes the restrictions placed on the phone.
2.
It allows you to make use of powerful
applications.
3. It allows you to uninstall system applications.
4.
It allows you to tweak the appearances of the
phone.
5.
It helps you to increase the processors speed,
in other word overclock your CPU.
HOW TO ROOT.
1.
Download Kingroot 4.5, install the app and open
it. Kingroot works with data connection, so make sure you have up to 5mb and
put on your data.Download
2. Then swipe
upwards to open another section.
3.
In the next section click TRY IT.
4.
Now it’s going to try and detect the model of
your Android and display it. Then click TRY TO ROOT.
5.
Now it will verify the Root Status.
6.
Next it will run in percentage until once it
gets to 100.
7.
Successfully obtained Root access.
