HOW TO CHANGE ANDROID
SYSTEM FONT.
Android Which Is Practically the Best User Friendly Phone Os
now is actually gaining much popularity. This is actually because it’s an Open
Source device and because there are many tweak which can be performed in other
to suit the need of the user. One of the popularly applied tweak is the
changing of the phone font to different beautiful fonts.
This gives your phone
a unique look as anyone who operates your phone tends to comment and smile at
the beauty of the font as against the original font.
In other to do this, all you need to do is to download the
font application. Just like other applications, there are a variety of font
applications available on Google play store. But for the purpose of this post,
I will be recommending “IFONT”. To me, it’s one of the best as it allows you to
download a lot of fonts directly from the application. More importantly, you
get to compare how the font looks as against the present font you are using.
You can also be able to change back to the original font or custom font which
you were using once you are no more interested in the designed font.
But before you can be able to use this application, you should
have root permission. In other words, your Android must be rooted. Once you
have a rooted Android, all you do is go to Google Play store and download
“iFont” and install it. After that open the application and follow the steps
below.
Open iFont and on the
page click FIND
Below the FIND menu click Font All
Here, you will be presented with different languages, on the
English section, browse through any font you want and select.
PREVIEW: this show the actual font in different sizes.
COMPARE: this compares the present font and the selected
font in other for you to see the differences.
TOP APP: Just a list of recommended application. Do not
bother to click it.
Once you are satisfied with the font you want, you click
download and it will download it. After the download, click Set and a list of
other questions will be asked, just click to respond and finally the phone will
reboot to integrate the font into the system of the phone.
To view a list of all your downloaded fonts, Open
iFont---MY—My Download and select the one you wish.
To restore Factory or custom font, just follow Open
iFont---MY—My Download---Factory Font----select restore point in this case its
internal font and click OK and the phone will reboot.
Note: there seems to be some flaws for some phones when
installing this iFont, if you haven’t seen anyone using this iFont on a similar
phone as yours, do not install. Or you can do a Rom backup before installing so
that incase there is a problem, you can restore the backup and nothing will
change. Some phones have been softbricked. I am not responsible for any flaws.
